In 2011, myself and two other colleagues founded a festival of pop-up performances and public art. The festival occurred around Manchester, UK. With a focus on new works and young artists, the mission of the festival was to bring completely free work to the public utilizing unexpected spaces such as public trams (Metrolink), street corners and squares, and even Twitter. L&F is about bringing the work to the public rather than waiting for the public to come to us.

The festival included a roving production of Così Fan Tutte, a bicycle-powered cinema, an interactive noir thriller via mobile & Twitter, train performances, live music and lots of knitting.
